Lockless clamping bushings SIT-LOCK ®: Available configurations
CAL1 executionNot self-centering
Composed by two half-conical rings, an inner ring and an outer ring. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring a wide tolerance.
CAL2 executionNot self-centering
Composed of two tapered rings, it is suitable for applications that require smaller dimensions.
CAL3 executionSelf-centering
Comprised of a cut inner ring and outer ring, and a spacer which prevents the hub from moving in relation to the shaft when tightening the screws. This locking device is particularly suitable for applications which require low hub pressures.
Recommended for use with aluminium hubs or hubs with lower mechanical properties.
CAL4 executionSelf-centering
Composed of two tapered rings and one outer slit ring. It is particularly suitable for applications that require high torque transmission.
CAL5A executionSelf-centering
Composed of an inner ring and outer ring, both with slits. This type of locking device is particularly suitable for applications that require excellent hub-to-shaft concentricity and perpendicularity.
CAL5B executionSelf-centering
Composed of an inner ring and outer ring both with slits. This type of locking device is particularly suitable for applications that require good hub-to-shaft concentricity and perpendicularity. It is also used for locking hubs with lower mechanical properties.
CAL6 executionSelf-centering
Clamping bushing with unique cone design. Provides good concentricity and good self-centering. A small axial movement of the hub may occur during the installation operation. They are not recommended for applications that require precise axial positioning with this type of bushing.. The SITLOCK® 6 bushing is recommended for torque applications to transmit media.
CAL7 executionSelf-centering
Clamping bushing with unique cone design. Provides good concentricity and self-centering. It is recommended for medium torques. The flange design prevents axial movement during installation. It is suitable for applications with medium torques, which require a very precise axial positioning.
CAL8 executionSelf-centering
Clamping hub with unique cone design. The flanged design prevents axial movement during installation. The SIT-LOCK ® 8 has a very small comparative length, is self-centering and has been designed to adapt to various shaft diameters, with the same external dimensions.
SIT-LOCK® 8 is recommended for applications with medium torques that require good axial positioning. The limited number of screws make installation quick.
CAL9 executionNot self-centering
It consists of two conical rings and a fixing nut. Its simple design allows an agile assembly/disassembly. SIT-LOCK® 9 is suitable for applications with medium and small torques.
CAL10 executionExternal
SIT-LOCK® 10 are clamp bushings with double cone design. They offer very easy angular synchronization and axial adjustment of the shaft ends. They transmit high torque and offer a low-cost solution for rigid shaft-to-shaft connection.
CAL11 executionExternal
Clamping bushings designed for joining hollow shafts with
. By locking the Ballscrews, radial pressures act on the shaft, allowing for an efficient and solid connection
. Recommended for medium and high pairs. SIT-LOCK® 11 is also manufactured in “SPLIT” and “HALF” versions for special applications.
CAL12 executionSelf-centering
3D Cal12 SIT-LOCK® 12 it is a clamping bushing. Suitable for large quantities in medium torque applications.
CAL13 executionSelf-centering
The SIT-LOCK ® 13 bushing similar to the standard type SITLOCK ® 9 but with a longer execution. Composed of two conical rings and a fixing nut.
CAL14 executionExternal
The clamping bushing of the 14 series consists of a single conical ring in difference to the type 11 which consists of 3 pieces. These bushings feature superior concentricity and self-centering and a higher degree of dynamic balance. Suitable for applications with medium-high speeds.
They are manufactured in 5 different variants.
CAL15 executionSelf-centering
Suitable for servo motors and small diameter pulleys. It generates a capacity of axial force similar to the resistance of the Ballscrews and the axial movement that it generates in the assembly can be used for axial locking of the bearings.
SIT MonolockSelf-centering
Composed of a single cylindrical ring in which a tapered hole is cut. A special screw with a tapered surface is inserted into the tapered hole.
The screw is of quality 12.9 in order to allow the tightening torques indicated in the tables.
