The TRASCO ® coupling is flexible, homokinetic and ensures the best performance in its class in relation to the physical space occupied.
Very compact design, ensures power transmission and absorption of load peaks and torsional vibrations.
Elastic design of the polyurethane star that compensates for angular and radial misalignments and absorbs small variations in the length of the axes.
TRASCO® couplings are dimensionally manufactured with executions of hub types “A” and “B”, being their difference the maximum shaft diameter they can accept (corresponding respectively to the first and second code numbers). The long execution of the “L” hub (allows complete coverage of the motor shaft) is available in “A” and “B” executions.
TRASCO® GRB type couplings for SER-SIT ® tapered bushing, are manufactured in GG25 casting.
They combine the high performance typical of standard TRASCO® couplings with the advantages of easy assembly and disassembly using the SER-SIT® tapered bushing.
These hubs are manufactured in two different assembly executions:
The GRB execution eliminates the problem of fit corrosion, making it suitable for all types of machinery.
The B1 type hubs allow axial displacement for star replacement.
This execution has been introduced to incorporate the advantages offered by SIT-LOCK® CAL 8 clamping bushings in the shaft-hub connection. The system allows fast, secure, clearance-free mounting without the use of a keyway, eliminating the need for lock washers, spacers and circlips.
We can design multiple solutions to solve all kinds of application needs.
The GRL series allows the Union of two shafts (even very distant ones) through two TRASCO® couplings and an intermediate shaft (“LW” length) of customized dimension. The presence of two polyurethane rings allows a high damping capacity and greater radial misalignments. The hubs are made of cast iron while the axes are made of steel; however different materials can be used accordingly depending on the applications.
The GRL CAL3 series allows the union of two shafts (even two spaced ones) through two TRASCO® couplings and an intermediate shaft (“LR2” length) of customized dimension, mounted by means of fastening bushings to the hubs.
The presence of two polyurethane stars allows a high damping capacity and greater radial misalignments.By default, the hubs are made of cast iron while the shafts are made of steel, but different materials can be used depending on the applications.
Coupling Sit Trasco GRF
The GRF series with flanges has been developed for applications in heavy machinery and to combine different shaft and flange solutions.
The GRFC series has the same characteristics as the GRF series, being more compact.
The GRS series allows greater compensation of axial, radial and angular misalignment. In addition, the use of a double star allows the torsion angle to be doubled and provides a very high damping effect.
The GR FRT series has been developed to fit the Drum Brake Transmission (FRT).

In addition, it is possible to mount different sized brake drums for any type of coupling.
The GR FRD series has been developed to fit Disc Brake Drives (FRD).
