TRASCO® ES is our coupling designed to compensate for misalignment and dampen vibration in indexing applications. TRASCO® ES’s compact design makes it the right choice for all precise motion applications. Great shock and vibration absorption through an elastomeric ring of different hardnesses.
SIT couplings are available as either a solid or machined hub, for standard shaft diameters.
The studs are machined 120 degrees to each other with one positioned 180 degrees to the keyway. Both solid hub type and finished shaft type are generally available from stock with prompt delivery. Approved according to the CE ATEX standard.
This type of coupling allows a quick assembly, without any shaft-hub play. Coupling without key, the tightening torque (Ms) indicated in the table must be scrupulously observed. Type M is available with or without a keyway. Conforms to EC ATEX standard.
GESMC compact version with fixing hub GESA version with clamping ring GESAP version with clamping ring according to DIN 69002 GESS version with double cardan GES LR3 version with extended intermediate shaft
Compact version of the GESM series with reduced overall length. They guarantee the same performance as the normal version with reduced sizes. The fixing hub allows a quick and safe connection of the shaft-hub with 0 play.
Approved according to the EC ATEX standard.
This type of coupling provides excellent homokinetic uniformity. In addition, the absence of key-way or screws set provides a well balanced coupling and greatly facilitates installation and removal. It facilitates an exact radial/axial positioning for those applications that require it.
The absence of a key-way also prevents corrosion and will eliminate backlage between the shaft and the hub. This is the ideal type of coupling for applications that require precision and/or high rotational speeds. Approved according to the EC ATEX standard.
A“zero backlash” precision coupling designed for multi-spindle devices in machine tools or with reduced mass, such as short central spindles, multi-spindles, primary spindles in machining centers or linked to high-speed bearings with reduced tolerance class. It is suitable for very high rotation speeds (up to peripheral speeds of 50 m/s).
This execution allows higher misalignments. The 2 polyurethane stars allow a high damping of vibrations that causes a decrease in the noise of the drive and a longer lifetime of the related components (for example, bearings). The intermediate element is made of aluminum alloy and can be used in combination with any type of hub design.
This zero backlage execution allows long distance connection in applications such as lifting spindles, gantry robots, etc.. The intermediate shaft is made of steel as a standard, but it can be made of different materials (aluminum, carbon, etc.) for specific needs.
The presence of 2 stars increases the damping capacities and allows high misalignments.
The ideal solution for long distance shaft connections. Torque transmission with zero backlash. It is used in applications such as automatic machines, forklifts, palletizers and manipulators.
Designed for a length of up to 4 m without bearing support (depending on the speed of rotation). Double groove execution allows belt mounting and replacement without displacement of the driven/driving machine. All in aluminum alloy for a very low inertia.
